Let’s talk about why we’re here—beyond just making ridiculously delicious fruit snacks (because yeah, we do that too). At Earth Wake Foods, we exist for something bigger: to help shift how we think about food and farming—for good.

We believe that continuing business as usual in agriculture just won’t cut it. As our global population grows, so does the pressure on our land, soil, and water. If we keep pushing nature to its limits—using chemical farming, depleting the soil, waging war against weeds and bugs like they’re the enemy—we’re not just risking bad harvests. We’re risking the very planet that feeds us.

But there’s hope. And it’s not about reinventing the wheel—it’s about going back to what worked.

Long before the industrial revolution and mass chemical agriculture, early settlers and Indigenous communities worked with nature, not against it. They harvested with care, respected limits, and adapted their ways to keep ecosystems thriving. In many ways, they were the original regenerative farmers. We’re not doing something brand new—we’re picking up where our ancestors left off.

And no, we’re not perfect. No one is. But we believe in science, progress, and owning our past. We’ve learned that some practices once considered safe—like DDT—turned out to be disasters in disguise. That’s okay. What matters is that we do better now, with the knowledge we have.

So what do we do at Earth Wake?
We make delicious, real fruit snacks—but that’s just the beginning. We’re also:

• A community pushing for food freedom, where everyone has the right to know what’s in their food and how it’s grown

• A reminder that change doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to start somewhere

We’re not here to point fingers. Agriculture has come a long way, and many farmers were simply doing what they thought was right. But now, with clearer science and louder warning signs from nature, it’s time to ask tougher questions—and be bold enough to answer them.
