What It Really Takes to Launch a Sustainable Brand
Launching a brand is one thing.
Launching a brand that aims to educate, shift food culture, and challenge a broken food system?
That’s a whole different mountain to climb.
Earth Wake was never meant to be “just another snack brand.”
From day one, the mission has been simple but demanding:
Bring food to the world that is good for the Earth and good for people.
No shortcuts. No greenwashing. No pretending.
And that kind of commitment takes work—real work.
The Long Road to One Little Bag
People often see the finished product on the shelf, but not the radical transparency, heart, and grit behind it.
Yes—our bag is plastic.
But it’s 50% post-consumer recycled material, and we chose that intentionally to reduce waste while still protecting food quality.
Designing that bag?
That alone was an 18-month journey.
Not just finding a designer who could capture our aesthetic…
…but finding someone whose heart, ethics, and worldview aligned with ours.
We peeled back layer after layer, because everything—from the designer to the supplier to the writer to the marketer—needed to match the mission.
This wasn’t check-the-box branding.
This was soul-driven creation.
And that was just the packaging.
Then selling on Amazon.
Then came the website.
Then merch—because even something as simple as a T-shirt mattered.
We didn’t want fast fashion… We wanted organic, undyed cotton that reflects our philosophy of working with nature, not against it.
We are committed to being as sustainable as possible, A → Z.
Why We Keep Going (Even When We’re Spread Thin)
We’re full-time parents and full-time operators of another business.
So yes—time is tight, schedules are full, and some days the to-do list feels endless.
But the mission?
That’s what keeps our fire lit.
Every day we look around at what the current food system is doing to American land and American bodies.
We see shelves filled with ultra-processed products.
We see people struggling with preventable health issues.
And it’s hard not to think:
“We’ve been eating poison… and it’s time for something better.”
Earth Wake isn’t a war against nature.
It’s a return to harmony—nourishing ourselves in a way that supports the land, rather than depleting it.
If we can make even a small dent in the problem with a healthier, earth-respecting snack…
then it’s worth every hour, every obstacle, every late night.
Looking Ahead: Big Goals for 2026
As we grow, so does our ability to make clean, conscious food more accessible.
In 2026, our eyes are set on a major milestone:
Expanding into more retail locations throughout the Bay Area.
More access.
More visibility.
More opportunities to wake people up—one snack at a time.
And yes… there are a few exciting new things cooking at Earth Wake.
Stay tuned. 2026 is going to be big.
Your support helps us build a food system rooted in integrity, regeneration, and flavor that actually comes from nature—not a lab.
Earth Wake
Food that honors land.
Snacks that respect your body.
A mission that won’t quit.
